Originating from the Maluku Islands in Eastern Indonesia, Amboyna burl is considered to be the most desirable and most expensive type of wood.
Italian photographer Willy Rizzo specialized in clean and sophisticated furniture design. Rizzo used his skill and incredible craftsmanship to show the natural beauty of natural materials in his furniture design.
The vision behind his designs was mainly a response to the design trends of his time. Rizzo didn’t wanted to recreate a style that already existed, he wanted to create something new for a traditional setting.
